Traditional Spanish food, casseroles & paellas. Restaurant in Murcia

Continental Bistró is located downtown Murcia, in the vicinity of the Cathedral, at 1 Simón García street.

Drawing by Javier Alberdi dedicated to our former Continental CaféOur bistro opened its doors on October 26th 2012 and takes its name from the memorable Café Continental, which was in business from 1983 to 1997. This local café was a remarkable center of cultural activity in the city of Murcia at an unprecedented time. It was a place where artists, actors, bullfighters, musicians, journalists, politicians and people from all walks of life found a common meeting space.

In one single atmosphere, the Continental Bistró combines great gastronomic and artistic tastes. The restaurant is decorated with a selected collection of modern and contemporary paintings. Works by extraordinary artists such as Ramón Gaya, Ramón Pontones, Pepe Lucas, Rosa Martínez Artero, Willy Ramos, Vicente Viudes, Angel Haro, Pedro Cano, Sofía Morales, Manolo Barnuevo and Párraga, among others, surround our guests in a relaxing and familiar ambience, a truly sublime experience for the senses.

An original concept by Emilio Morales and Elena Virgili, owners of La Ribera art gallery, who are enthusiasts of culinary delights and devoted to sharing the art of good eating with you.
